Freshmen Orientation Camp

20-24 June 2006

Phew.. 3rd year in a row that I have been to this camp.. and somehow each camp gets more fun!

Special thanks to my group AMUNRA.. thank you all freshmen and councillors.. you guys were loads of fun! Even though we were small in numbers, but we were united as one and I am so proud of all of you in every games that we played. Had a lot of positive feedback from the other councillors when i was station IC too! Espacially proud to see us grit our teeth, battling and charging through the finish line for Sentosa Finale.. we came in second! Woohoo!!! Let the friendships that we have forged not ceased just after this camp, but continue to last through rest of our lives! Haha.. i may still be hanging around NUS for a while.. can still look for me ah! =P

Not forgetting to thank my dear brothers and sisters... Yaotian, Adrian, Charles, Anthony, Yanrui and Vivian. It is just so endearing, encouraging and inspiring to run alongside this camp together with all of you. Seeing the way each of you lead your groups, cheering them on, talking to the freshmen...etc I am so encouraged! Hahaha.. I feel as if I had led the young generation to the Promised Land! haha...

Yaotian and Adrian: Being in same group as you guys is such a joy! We are brothers united man!

Charles: You are one hero man! Leading a group and paving the way for your freshmen and councillors to follow! Kudos to you!

Anthony: Yes, my beloved brother who has been charging with me in NUS for past three years.. You never cease to amaze me with your energy! Ethelonter IV next year???

Vivian: Haha.. stunned to see you but am glad that you came! Too bad didn't get to play SP with you this year! haha..

Yanrui: Wahaha... you ah you ah.... Shh.. do keep secret to what you have seen and know okie? haha... "So dark the con of man"...Thanks for the billions of fun! Next time we go drink "Zhao" together??!?!?! hahaha...

Someone asked me during last day of camp.. "Oei Ee Jay... so how? Next year join Ethelonter IV camp?"... stunned me for a moment, i couldn't really answer. But i do know that the past three years as i joined, i enjoyed it alot.. not purely because of the fun or knowing more people, but rather the friendship we built on from there, continue to walk a young life from freshmen till graduate and even in the process seeing them come back to serve as councillors in the camp or even helping out in community service work to bless the poor and needy. That's my purpose and i see it coming to fulfilment even in the past 2 years in Ethelonter Camp.

Hahaha... Ethelonter IV?? I am still pondering upon it... keke...
