I'm leaving... on a jet plane.....

Zzzz.. Finally managed to catch up on the sleep that i missed out on during GCYC.. seems like if you missed 10 hours of sleep, you would need 25 hours to get it back! Haha...

GCYC was really a blessing f0r me personally, not just being able to see people from various nations gathered to worship the Lord and hear from each other. But it was a time to serve the nations locally as the they come from afar to us. This time round, I had the privilege to serve the delegates both at homestay and also at the GB HQ where all of them were staying.

On the Saturday night prior to the convention, I hosted three Japanese delegates at my place together with Adrian. There and then, they were still relatively quiet and didn't really talk much.. Quite like ice not broken yet... but by the time the convention started and as I spent the next few days with them, the rapport was growing stronger and we were just having so much fun together sharing, encouraging, praying...etc

We laughed and joked as Ps Shingo and wife said they will be praying fervently for me to find a japanese wife!!

We shared and encouraged each other as we journeyed through our thoughts about G12, youth ministry, cell groups, youths in Singapore/Japan

We prayed and inspired faith in each other to rise up during the times of ministry and prayer warfare...

We shared tears of joy together.. sadden that we had to part at end of convention, but joy that we have found new spiritual families in distant land and how wonderful God works amongst us.

All of them left Changi Airport.. thanking us for the love, hospitality...etc that we showered on them. But I must say for myself that I have been so much blessed in return by them. Really changed a new perspective of my view towards Japan.. I am really like a frog leaping out of the well! Seeing the bigger picture of what God is stirring up in the nations!

Am excited as I gear up for my Japan trip this coming September.. Woohoo!!!!

Gateway Cities Youth Convention 2006.... SUCCESS!!!
