Life is either a daring adventure or nothing

Whoopies! Just came back from my church camp yesterday, concussed through the night and am now back into the blogosphere! It was really a fun and enriching camp (Yes, all of your should go for it man!) and one special inspiration that I caught from it was to "MAKE MY LIFE A MIRACLE"!

Just to clear the puzzle in my thoughts, I checked the online dictionary again on the meaning of the term Miracle....

mir‧a‧cle  /ˈmɪrəkəl/ [mir-uh-kuhl]

1. an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.
2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God.
3. a wonder; marvel.
4. a wonderful or surpassing example of some quality: a miracle of modern acoustics.

*Faintz* Gosh! My first thought was... how am I gonna make my life become some supernatural phenomenon?!?! IMPOSSIBLE!!! I am simple person and just contented with this simple life that I am living. A miracle just somehow blows my mind! Honestly, in my mind then, key words that came to my mind about miracles were: Superman, Spiderman, walking on water, change the world...etc. Super impossible and ridiculous to my mind!

So I left the camp pretty much brushing that thought out of my mind. My church leader came to give me a lift and wanted to buy me dinner. Little did I know that I was in for a surprise! All my churchmates had ganged up together to throw me a surprise birthday party! Though I had smelt something fishy cooking up before that, but I didn't know there was gonna be so many people there! Was stunned for a moment, but what happened next threw me off my chair man!

I was invite to sit down in a "hot seat" and each of my churchmates came up to share a thanksgiving on how I have impacted their lives. Instantly, the word MIRACLE came to my mind again.. and as the people continued to share and we laughed as we rekindled those funny moments, I began to understand what does "Make My Life A Miracle" means.

We don't need to have super powers, big big muscles, super smart brains or handsome looks to make our lives a miracle. THERE IS NO PREREQUISITE!! It is not the big bombastic things in life that makes a miracle, but rather the little things that we do that makes our life a miracle. Things like dropping a simple SMS of encouragement, lending a shoulder or listening ear to comfort a friend or simple just bringing a smile to faces around us. It may seem small and unnoticable, but it meant alot to those around us.

When I heard those thanksgivings my churchmates shared.. I knew my life is already a miracle. I don't need to try harder and be some super hero that I am not. The key is just to be myself. And I will continue making my life a miracle!
