A simple life in a crazy world!

Posted by Mr.Keropok

Cute right? Haha.. this doodle was done by one of my church youths as we were supper-ing away on hamburgers and french fries in McDonalds just a while ago. Dropped by McDonalds to visit a couple of them while they were busy mugging for their JC prelims examinations. After being boogled down by millions of atoms and molecules' formulas from the Chemistry notes, one of them just doodled this down on my burger wrapper! Gosh! I wish I could doodle so nicely too! My art & craft really cannot make it man.. haha..

To me, this drawing represents the desire of simplicity of life in a complicated world. True enough, the world around us is moving really at a very fast pace, sometimes we are trying hard just to stay afloat! Studies, examinations, peer/family/self pressures, problems in life...etc These are just some addition additives that complicates our lives further.

I hope in the complexity of life nowadays, we would not be overwhelmed by all these things and be consumed by the worries of life. But take a moment (even if a small pocket of time) and be still to catch a breather and learn to pace ourselves in this crazy world.

I learnt something from the Bible today and share it with everyone who is reading my blog. May you find the true peace that will guard your hearts in this crazy world...

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?...... But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:25-34
