Every wondered what you can do with the simple digital camera you have on hand? Have you ever wished that you could take some "nicer" shots with your digicam compared with those "professional" shots?
Well, introducing this camera technique called.... "Bokeh". Something new I learnt from my friend, NiVlEm, which can be used easily on any digital camera with the macro shot function.
Bokeh (derived from Japanese, a noun boke 暈け, meaning "blurred or fuzzy") is a photographic term referring to the appearance of out-of-focus areas in an image produced by a camera lens using a shallow depth of field. Different lens bokeh produces different aesthetic qualities in out-of-focus backgrounds, which are often used to reduce distractions and emphasize the primary subject. (from Wikipedia.org)
