Reflections of a young Historymaker!

Posted by Mr.Keropok

During the race, at the ECP marina bay exit, there are a lot of army personnels that jus cut queue, take shortcut... Navy, land units and air units alike...

Then at rochor exit that time, i see a lot of army personnels jumping over the hedges, to get to Suntec shelter as well as the short cut due to nasty rain...

Approaching the end of the race, a lot of army personnels are walking, chit chating, some even gathered in their platoons at pavilions near the end point at the esplanade area to relax...

I feel that from here, i can understand a bit of the heart of a fighter for God... U see, we might be nobody, no physical training, no fit fit bodies, but we insist to finish the race in the correct manner... taking the correct routing all the way... Similarly in the Christian walk, there is a track where each one of us will have to take the full course... Imagine with me the example quoted last time about the kingdom of heaven as a standing board jump... We need to jump 10m to reach the kingdom, any lesser than that, even by 1 cm, we will fall into the drain... Thus, in our walk with God, we have to run the full course, any lesser than that will be a fall into the drain, because we dun meet God's requirements for us in our lives...

Secondly, a understanding of a heart of a volunteer... The classical example can be seen in each and everyone of my brothers, sisters and father... We might not be as fit as the army, but as we are prepared to "die to self" and volunteer for this job... Thus, we are much more well equipped than the army people... Let me explain in detail... A peasant, who volunteer to protect his country, who is prepared to lay down his life for the country on his own accord, is the most fearsome soldier in the army... this is because if he is prepared to lay down his life on his own accord, what other things he will not sacrifice away, what else can he not do for the country?? If a well trained soldier do as he is commanded and fight, but do not want to volunteer and sacrifice his life for the country, he is the weakest of all and will lose 1/2 of the battle even before it starts... thats the precise reason why terrorists are feared by all people... because even though they are ordinary folks, but they volunteer to die and this makes them unstoppable and will whack to the very end... (this is a negative example)...

Therefore, in my eyes, when i see u people, i am so proud of u all... We might be weak, someone not significant in the run, but we are willing to go through all this like a volunteer on our accord for GOD and the people beside us... this spirit is far far far stronger, more powerful and greater than that of any army people present.... If we can apply it into our Christian life, and are prepared to lay down our very own lives for Jesus, then we can be the strongest spiritual warriors eva....

Remember: The heart and spirit of a volunteer is the greatest tool of all, use it on GOD!!!!
